Hit Producer Swizz Beatz recently talked about working on Drake's "Fancy" song saying that Andre 3000, of Outkast, was set to be on the "Thank Me Later" track. Drake wanted Andre on the song along with his mentor T.I. but Swizz says lots stopped that. "Andre 3000 was supposed to be on 'Fancy,' " Swizz revealed. "Drake had a group of people he wanted to be on it: Andre, Tip, this one, that one. But the deadline for the album rushed a lot of things. [Drake] can tell you the rest, but Tip just wound up being on it. Which I'm cool with, cause that's the homie."

Big Boi Talks New Outkast Album
Big Boi released his new "Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty" solo album this week but he is also working on another Outkast project while working on his solo projects. "I got about four, five songs that I'm tinkering with right now," Big Boi says. "But at the same time, there's a couple of records that we picked out for the Outkast record too. So while Dre is working on his records, we're kinda, with Organized Noize, seeing what's gonna go for the 'Kast album. And at the same time, with the beats I already got, I'm just making the most out of my time, whether I'm on the road touring or just on the bus or whatever; just putting ideas down."
"With this album right here, there was just a lot of label politics in the background that kinda fueled my fire," Big Boi said of enduring multiple delays for his current album. "You not gonna tell me what I'm doing isn't jamming. I know this is some of the best music I'm making in my whole life; I'm putting everything into it. I'm spending time away my family, my wife and my kids to record for three years and you don't respect my craft? That kind of fueled everything."

Dre Talks Detox Status & Release Date
Dr Dre recently gave an update on the status of his upcoming, and long-awaited, "Detox" album saying he plans to release it in the late fall. Dre also talks about his "Under Pressure" single leaking. "Absolutely, I'm leaving this event and heading right to the studio," Dre said from the 23rd ASCAP Awards, "I'm getting it cracking and trying to put it out by the end of the fall. I'm trying to give everyone what they've been waiting for and make sure they're not disappointed. This it, that's all I'm doing. The leaked 'Under Pressure' was absolutely not real. I didn't get a chance to finish the record, the vocals are real rough, it's not blended right and there's not even a hook on the song. It's not done, the music's not done, it's just one of those things we have to deal with today in this business because of technology and all of that. It's real easy for somebody to steal your sh*t so what can you do?"

Music artist Big Sean, both frequent collaborators, have confirmed it is in progress, implying that they are working on the project Big Sean confirmed that the album's working title is Good Ass Job, which West had previously claimed would be his fourth album, before the release of 808's & Heartbreak. West has cited Maya Angelou, Gil Scott-Heron and Nina Simone as his musical inspirations for this album.
